A set of German Zeltbahn shelter capes in a tan version for the African theater, 1:72 scale. An accessory for vehicles as well as for figures in a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Zeltbahn, that is the German shelter cape, was among the most commonly seen equipment of the Second World War. A soldier carried it rolled up on his kit, used it as a rain cape and, joined to further pieces, it served as a section of a tent. That is exactly why it turns up everywhere in period photographs: draped over a fender, tied to a turret, folded on a truck bed. This set offers it in a tan version for the African theater.
1:72 scale is shared by models of ground vehicles and smaller aircraft kits, so the capes come in useful on an armored vehicle, on a truck and in the fittings of a position. In a scene they fill a role that no kit part can take on: they break up the smooth surfaces of a vehicle and suggest that somebody really lives with it.
Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the traces of production off. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Super glue suits settling them, because it holds even on a small contact area.
The package contains this accessory only. The model, figures, a diorama base, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
