The 3 Series in the E46 version was made from the middle of the 1990s and, in the racing form designated 320i, it belonged at the beginning of the millennium among the fixtures of European touring car events. The rules of the time prescribed a two-liter naturally aspirated engine, so it was not power that decided, but the precision of the setup and the work during running. The car with drive to the rear wheels did well even on narrow street circuits, where behavior under braking matters. For modelers it is a subject on which the combination of a sober body and striking markings comes out well.
Prepare the glazing separately and keep it aside from the rest of the build. Before the work clean the surface and avoid touching it with fingers. Apply the paint thinly, one layer after another, and take your time between them. Remove the mask while the paint is not yet hard, and check the edges against the light. If something is missing somewhere, fill it in with a fine brush while the part is freely accessible.
