Fomoco plate lights 1:12 (Decalcas)

An aftermarket detail set, not a kit. It reproduces license plate lighting in the Ford (Fomoco) style for car models in the large 1:12 scale. The set from Decalcas combines a resin lamp body with clear (transparent) parts imitating the lenses.

Use

  • Separate the parts carefully from the support structures and protect the clear parts from scratching.
  • Wash off any print resin residue and let them dry.
  • Glue them with super glue; for the clear parts choose a glue that does not fog transparent surfaces.
  • Paint the body and leave the clear lenses transparent, or tint them with varnish.

Who the set is for

For advanced modelers of large scales who finish a body down to the last detail.

The set is an accessory, not a complete model. It does not include glue, paints or the model itself.
