An aftermarket detail set, not a kit. It holds miniature castle (locking) nuts with a split pin in five larger sizes: 1.125 mm, 1.25 mm, 1.3 mm, 1.5 mm and 1.70 mm. A castle nut with a split pin secures a joint against coming loose on axles, steering pins and other moving parts of a vehicle. The parts are resin (3D printed) from Decalcas. The values in mm are the dimensions of the parts, not the scale of a model.

Use

• Choose the size you need and separate the part from the support structure with a sharp knife.
• Wash off any print resin residue and let it dry.
• Glue it with super glue onto the pin or axle in question.
• Paint it in metallic shades for a realistic look.

For advanced modelers who go in for superdetailing the chassis and mechanical parts, especially in larger scales.

The set is an accessory, not a complete model. It does not include glue, paints or the model itself.
