A set of parts that adds to a 1:12 model of the Ducati Superleggera V4 motorcycle whatever the basic kit leaves out or simplifies. It holds honeycomb meshes for the exhaust, several kinds of bolts to replace the metal ones from the original kit, a dry clutch with an open cover in the racing form split into several parts to make painting easier, the brake lever guard supplied with the real machine in its racing pack, the right-hand rear axle nut, the front fork yoke nut and the adjuster nuts for the front and rear shock. Parts made by three-dimensional printing are included as well.
The dry clutch comes split into several parts precisely so that it can be painted before assembly, so make use of that and do not glue it together beforehand. The printed parts have no casting blocks but thin print supports, which you cut away with a sharp knife before sanding the marks smooth. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting. Leave the bolts and nuts in a metallic shade and give them depth with a dark wash that runs into the grooves.
The set is an accessory, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
