A black tone from the color range of the Number Five brand, intended for plastic models. The name refers to the racing Porsche 911 of the 993 generation in GT2 specification as campaigned by the Japanese Taisan team.

The subject behind the name

In the 993 generation the GT2 version was the top of the sporting range: a turbocharged flat six, rear-wheel drive and a strikingly widened body. Its front and rear fenders are bolted on, so they can be swapped quickly after contact on the circuit, and the tail carries a tall twin wing. The Taisan team was one of the notable entrants in the Japanese circuit series of the 1990s and its cars are a rewarding subject among modelers.

• Stir the contents of the bottle, because black shades have pigment settled at the bottom too.
• Work in thin coats and watch the edges, where the paint likes to gather.
