The blue from the Number 5 range is named after the Hyundai i20 WRC competition car. The range is organized car by car, so a builder reaches straight for a tone in the spirit of the subject and does not have to mix it from two bottles. The shade is intended for the bodies of car models.
Saturated blue tones look different on a model according to what lies under them. On a white primer they come out brighter, on a gray one they darken, and over bare plastic the surface tends to be uneven. So apply the primer to the whole body, not only to the filled spots. Build the paint up in thin coats; a saturated shade gains its depth from their number, not from one generous coat that fills molded gaps and window frames. Before the clear coat goes on, let the blue cure properly; on a coat that is not dry, matte patches appear under the clear.
The paint is supplied as described. A model, primer, thinner, clear coat and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. For thinning, cleaning tools and drying times, follow the manufacturer's data on the packaging. Work in a ventilated room and store the container carefully closed and out of the reach of children.
