The livery of this prototype rests on a light surface that the colored stripes and lettering only then divide. Anyone who wants to build the car honestly starts from exactly this layer: the cleaner it is, the more sharply the rest of the graphics then sits on it. On the prototype the light surface moreover breaks across large aerodynamic items, so there is far more of it on a model than photographs suggest.
The Toyota TS050 Hybrid was a prototype of the top endurance class and raced from 2016. It combined a turbocharged V6 with a hybrid system that stored energy from braking and returned it under acceleration. In the very first year a win at Le Mans escaped the brand literally a few minutes from the finish, but two seasons later the Japanese brand won the twenty-four hours for the first time in its history and then repeated the triumph. The class the car raced in was among the technically most complex in the history of long-distance racing.
Modelers who build modern endurance machinery and need a uniform white for the large body surfaces, where every irregularity gives itself away. It will also serve those who put a paddock scene together and want to match the car with the trolleys and panels of the team. The light surface of the car was divided by colored stripes and the lettering of partners, whose edges have to stay sharp on a model.
