F430 Red, the red of a V8 Ferrari of 2004 to 2009

The F430 Red shade comes from the Italian racing red in which the F430 appeared most often. The Number Five line names its colors after particular cars, and this item holds the tone associated with one of the most widespread modern coupes.

The car behind the name of the shade

The Ferrari F430 replaced the 360 Modena and was built from 2004 to 2009. The rear-mounted V8 had a displacement of 4.3 liters, the gearbox was available in manual and sequential form, and a rotary switch for driving modes appeared on the steering wheel on a wider scale for the first time. Besides the closed coupe an open version and a sharper Scuderia variant were sold. For a modeler it matters that the body of the F430 has large smooth surfaces without decorative trim, so the red coat has to be even along the whole length of the car.
