CX500 Turbo White is a Number Five modeling paint in the white of the bodywork of the Honda CX500 Turbo, the first series-produced turbocharged motorcycle.
Responsibility details are not available.
A white from the Number Five palette whose subject is the bodywork of the Honda CX500 Turbo. On this machine the white surface is essential: massive plastic panels take up most of the visible area and the colored stripes with lettering are only narrow accents on them. The shade therefore has to sit on a large continuous surface and must not break up into uneven streaks.
The Honda CX500 Turbo appeared in 1982 and was the first series-produced motorcycle with forced induction. The V-twin of 498 cubic centimeters received a turbocharger and the output jumped to roughly 82 horsepower, that is to several times what the naturally aspirated version gave. The machine also brought digital ignition and Pro-Link suspension, and the whole of it was hidden under extensive bodywork of a kind unusual on a production motorcycle at the beginning of the 1980s.
It will interest above all builders of motorcycle models who keep to period finishes and want a white suitable for large continuous panels. It also goes with the CX500 Turbo Gold shade from the same line, if you are building the machine complete.
Avoid contact of the paint with the eyes; if they are affected, rinse them with running water.
