Studio27 1:24 decals for the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 of the Zakspeed team capture the car with race number 27 from the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring in 2015. It is a standalone sheet of markings. The sheet is prepared for the Fujimi 123929 kit.

The Japanese company Studio27 supplies one thing in this package: a printed sheet of waterslide decals in 1:24 scale. The markings match the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 that ran in the 2015 endurance event at the Nürburgring under number 27 in the colors of the German Zakspeed team. The large areas of the markings are sized to the body of the Fujimi 123929 kit.
The SLS AMG GT3 is based on a sports coupe with upward-opening doors. Behind the long nose sits a naturally aspirated V8 of around six liters, the gearbox is moved back toward the rear axle and the weight distribution comes out unusually even as a result. The racing version added a roll cage, rapid refueling, wider fenders and a large rear wing. Zakspeed is a German team with roots in the Eifel, where the circuit lies, so in this case it is a home start.
Endurance cars carry enormous continuous areas of sponsor colors, which the sheet handles with large pieces. These go down in one go and will not tolerate hesitation: the surface has to be wetted thoroughly and the motif moved smoothly, ideally with a soft brush. Squeeze the water out from under the decal from the center toward the edges so that no bubble is left underneath.
