Responsibility details are not available.
A standalone sheet of waterslide decals in 1:24 scale. On it Studio27 has worked up the livery of the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR with race number 70, with which the French Larbre Compétition team ran the 2011 edition of the 24-hour race at Le Mans. The model is sold separately.
The car ran in the category reserved for amateur crews, where stricter limits apply to the make-up of the driver line-up, but the machinery stays at the level of the professional class. Pascal Gibon, Christophe Bourret and Jean-Philippe Belloc took turns at the wheel, the trio that formed the core of the French entry in this category. Larbre Compétition is one of the longest-running teams in the field, with a long history of entering GT cars in French and worldwide endurance events. The main partner of the project was a French insurance company whose name the car carried along the full length of its flanks.
The rounded tail of the 911 has not a single flat spot and the lettering runs across it in a curve. Lay the motifs on a well-wetted surface therefore, and press them down with a wet cotton swab rather than with your fingers. Before the clear coat goes on, remove the adhesive residue with lukewarm water, otherwise once dry it will stay visible as a glossy outline.
