A resin kit of the German Panzer II light tank in the Ausf. C version in 1:100 scale. The small scale is appreciated above all by collectors who put together whole armored columns or play tabletop games. Before building, the castings have to be cleaned of the mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks, so the set suits more advanced modelers.
The Panzerkampfwagen II was one of the most widespread German tanks at the beginning of the Second World War. The production Ausf. C version had running gear with five separate road wheels on leaf springs and a turret with a two-centimeter rapid-fire cannon and a coaxial machine gun. Although it was lightly armored, it played a key role in the first campaigns and also served as a training and reconnaissance vehicle.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap before gluing. Glue the joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand gently and with respiratory protection. After a coat of primer and painting with an airbrush, a dark wash and fine pigments for dust and mud will bring the structure out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
