Fabric seat belts for a model of the Douglas A-20J/K Havoc bomber, known in British service as the Boston Mk.IV, in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Douglas A-20 Havoc is an American twin-engine attack and light bomber aircraft from the time of the Second World War, designated in British service by the name Boston. The J and K versions are recognized by the glazed nose for a navigator and a bombardier, who determined the moment of release. The Royal Air Force listed this form of the machine under the designation Boston Mk.IV.
This is a set of seat belts made of fabric for a model of this aircraft in 1:32 scale. A fabric belt has one substantial advantage over a plastic or photo-etched version: it is pliable, it can be folded over the edge of a seat and left to hang loosely, so in a cockpit it does not look like a flat strip but like a strap somebody has just set aside. The extent of the set and the procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Fit the belts into the seats before you glue the cockpit glazing onto the model, otherwise you will not reach them. Work with fabric with dry and clean hands and shape it gradually, by pressing rather than pulling. Apply the glue in a small amount and spot by spot, so that it does not soak through the weave and darken it. The particular assembly procedure and the buckles are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For a modeler who is building the A-20 in 1:32 scale with an open cockpit and wants the interior to hold up even seen close up. The model, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
