The second set of paving parts from Zoukei-Mura is a building block for modelers for whom one package is not enough for the scene they have in mind, or who want something to choose from while laying out a base. Cobblestone paving is a classic of European cities of the twentieth century, so it will serve under military vehicles, a civilian car and a genre scene with figures alike. It is precisely the ability to put a surface together piece by piece that sets this range apart from one-piece castings: you determine the layout, not the manufacturer.
Before gluing, lay the whole composition out and mark the order of the parts, so that the pattern does not break visibly anywhere. Mask the transition between the paving and the surrounding terrain with a fine loose material; a few missing stones or a puddle in a hollow will give the surface a history.
It will be appreciated by diorama builders who regularly build urban scenes and need a stock of paved surface for several projects ahead. Because the range is not tied to a single scale, it stays useful in stock regardless of whether you are currently preparing a scene for a tank, a classic car or an aircraft.
