The real subject

The designation LP700 belongs to the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 coupe: a car with a V12 mounted ahead of the rear axle, all-wheel drive, scissor doors and a sharply creased body. It is precisely those sharp edges and large flat panels that make it a popular base for colorful liveries.

What the collection offers

This is a set of decal designs issued under the name Lines of Burst Collection, that is a graphic set rather than the technical lettering of the car. Liveries like these change the character of a model without any work on the body: it is enough to lay them on a finished paint job and a factory car turns at once into one from a show or a meeting of modified cars. Which designs the collection holds, and in how many color versions, is given in the manufacturer's instructions.

How to apply the decals

• The paint under a design has to be smooth and gloss, otherwise a silvery veil will appear.
• Before applying them, check in the instructions whether these are waterslide decals or self-adhesive elements.
• Lay long stripes down in sections and keep checking that they line up across the creases of the body.
• Press air bubbles out with a soft cloth from the center toward the edge.
• Once it has dried perfectly, varnish the whole part so that the edges of the film merge into the paint.

Who it is for

The collection will be used by builders of modern supercars who want to set a model apart from the factory version, and by modelers putting cars together to their own idea. The model, paints and varnish are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
