A further stowage set for the StuG III Ausf.G in 1:35 scale from Eureka XXL, which fits the Miniart, Dragon, Das Werk, Takom and RFM kits and widens the range of accessories for the same type of vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
Eureka XXL offers several separate sets of stowage for the late StuG III, distinguished by a sequence number, and this is one of them; it fits the Miniart, Dragon, Das Werk, Takom and RFM kits. A builder can thus choose the variant matching the period photograph he wants to render, or combine the sets with one another.
Lashed-down crates, jerrycans, shelter halves and personal baggage were part of a crew's equipment as naturally as ammunition. On a model they fill two roles: they show that the vehicle lives in the field, and they break up the large smooth expanses of armor. On top of that, a place where the build did not quite come off can be hidden under them.
Before you start work, rid the parts of dust in a lukewarm bath and let them dry. Put the individual pieces on a wooden stick, paint them and seat them only when they are finished, because reaching with a brush between stacked baggage is almost impossible later. Make the straps and ropes from thin wire or tin foil, so that the stowage holds together to the eye and in reality. Finally tie everything together with a light veil of dust.
This is an accessory for a model; the vehicle and paints are not included in the package.
When you combine two sets on one vehicle, watch that the same object does not appear twice within sight. A repeated casting is spotted by the eye at once and the stowage then looks like mass-produced goods instead of the crew's personal things.
