A kit of a ship of the Polish Navy in 1:400 scale. The particular name of the ship is given on the packaging and in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The abbreviation ORP is carried before their name by the ships of the Polish Navy, much as British ships carry HMS. It is therefore a mark of allegiance, not the name of a particular vessel. Polish naval subjects have a steady following among modelers, and in the smaller scales they are within reach even of someone who has no room for large ship models.
Ships are large compared with aircraft and military vehicles, which is why smaller scales are reached for with them. In 1:400 scale a vessel a hundred meters long comes out at twenty-five centimeters, so it fits into an ordinary display case or onto a shelf and does not take up a whole table. A smaller scale also means that the parts are tiny and that the fine parts, such as masts, cranes and railings, will stand only careful handling.
The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted, unless stated otherwise. Clean the excess material off the mating surfaces of the parts and sand the seams of the hull, because every irregularity shows precisely along the long side. Apply the paint in thin coats, otherwise it will clog the fine relief of the deck. A proven procedure is to spray the hull and the deck before the small superstructures are fitted, as a brush cannot reach them later. The range of parts, the color variants and the name of the ship are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
