This set of color 3D decals from the manufacturer Kelik gives the cockpit of the carrier dive bomber a three-dimensional and faithfully colored look. They are self-adhesive decals printed on a flexible film with raised three-dimensional detail of the instrument panel, the panels and the controls. It is neither photo-etch nor resin; the decals are simply stuck on and come finished in color. The set is designed for the Academy kit.
The Douglas SBD Dauntless was an American carrier dive bomber of the Second World War; the SBD-2 version belonged to the early form. The type made its name above all in the fighting in the Pacific. The open tandem cockpit offers a clearly visible area for color detail.
The decals are intended for a plastic model of the SBD-2 Dauntless dive bomber in 1:48 scale. Carefully separate the parts from the backing and lay them on the target surfaces; the flexible film follows the relief of the panels. The color elements are not varnished.
This is a separate accessory for the interior, not a model of the aircraft. The base kit is not included in the package.
