A set of three-dimensional interior decals for a model of the two-seat multirole machine in 1:72 scale. It deals with the color look of the pilot's station and of the rear cockpit and is intended for completing an Academy kit already obtained. The aircraft itself is not included in the package.
The F-15E came about by rebuilding a proven air fighter into a machine able to work against ground targets in any weather. The fundamental change was a second cockpit for the weapon systems officer, whose station was filled by screens in place of classic dials. Along the fuselage came conformal fuel tanks with fixed pylons, which increased the range and the number of stores carried, and the airframe received a strengthened structure for low flying at high speed. It is precisely the pair of differently equipped cockpits that makes a model of this type a rewarding object for interior accessories.
Work from the back forward and watch that the finished rear station does not block your access. The long canopy reveals both cockpits at once, so they should have the same level of work. Finish the seats separately and fit them only after the floor surfaces are done.
