About product

Star Decals 1:35 War in Ukraine no. 22 – Ukrainian BMP-1 and BMP-3

A set of water-slide (wet) decals in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Star Decals. It brings markings, tactical signs and lettering for the BMP-1 and BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles in Ukrainian service in the years 2022 to 2024. It is an accessory for finishing a model, not a kit.

Use

  • Cut the decal out and dip it for a few seconds in lukewarm water.
  • Move the softened decal onto a smooth gloss varnished base and set the position.
  • For adhesion to the details use a decal softener and a decal fixer.
  • Once dry, overspray with a clear varnish to unify the surface.

Who the set is for

For modelers of present-day equipment who build Ukrainian fighting vehicles from the current conflict. Basic experience of applying wet decals is assumed.

The decals are an accessory to a model. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
