Scale 1:48 is at home above all with aircraft, and that is exactly where tropical vegetation is most useful: a machine parked under camouflage netting on an island apron, mechanics in the undergrowth, a cowling open in the heat. The accessory covers the palm leaves such a scene calls for and offers them in a form that lets you build the vegetation to your own intention.

Apply crushed terrain material around the foot of the tree so that the transition between the vegetation and the soil does not look like a sharp cut. When photographing the finished scene, check how the growth looks against the light; that is when you can tell whether the leaves have enough depth or whether another layer of shade is needed.
