Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of wet decals in 1:144 scale from the Mark I brand, meant for finishing a model of the light multipurpose aircraft de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver in the equipment of the Finnish Air Force. It is a separate accessory for a model already built and painted, not a kit.
The Beaver is a Canadian all-metal high-wing monoplane with a single air-cooled radial engine, designed shortly after the Second World War for operation from short and unprepared surfaces. It became famous for taking off and landing in a very small space and for having a wheeled undercarriage that can be exchanged for floats or skis. That is precisely why it established itself in the remote regions of the north and with military liaison and transport units and stayed in operation for decades. Finland was among the European operators of this type.
Cut the motif out as close to the print as possible, immerse it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest on the backing paper until it begins to slide freely. On a smooth glossy surface a decal settles considerably more cleanly than on matte paint. Tune the position in this scale with the tip of a damp brush, draw the surplus water off with a paper tissue and finally unify the finished joint by coating it with clear.
