1:72 Bristol Brigand TF.I, B.1, MET.3, T.4, T.5 Decals is a decal sheet of the Mark I brand for the British twin-engine aircraft of the postwar era.
Responsibility details are not available.
The wet decals of the Mark I brand are tied to the British Brigand; the designations of the torpedo, bomber, meteorological and training versions of the machine are written out in the name. These are printed markings on film, applied with water. The model of the aircraft itself has to be obtained separately.
The Brigand was a twin-engine all-metal aircraft of the Bristol firm with Centaurus radial engines, deriving in design from the Buckingham bomber and the Buckmaster trainer. The original torpedo variant soon proved outdated, and so the machines were converted into light bombers for service overseas. They were deployed above all over the Malay Peninsula and over Arabia. The meteorological version flew measuring flights into storm areas, and two training variants served to train radar operators. Operation ended in the middle of the fifties.
British postwar schemes tend to be dark, so prepare a smooth glossy base under a decal. Apply the larger markings one at a time and press the air out as you go from the center toward the edges. Use a softener sparingly so that the print does not wrinkle over rows of rivets. With large code letters it pays to divide the print into two parts and apply them one after the other.
