Colored 3D interior for the KAMAZ-43509 in 1:43 scale

This item is neither a kit nor parts in resin, but an accessory to a finished plastic model. These are 3D printed and already colored interior features applied to decal paper. Into the cab of a KAMAZ-43509 model in 1:43 scale you thus get a raised and colored instrument panel, upholstery and further details without having to cut anything out, assemble it from etched metal or laboriously pick it out with a brush. The decals are shaped to the parts of the Zvezda kit.

How it differs from the sibling set

This interior is made in two extents and this is the smaller one, marked in the name as the Small version. Alongside it a larger, fuller version of the same interior is made. Check the exact composition of both variants on their packages.

How the set is applied

• Prepare the base smooth and varnished to a gloss; the feature has no adhesive layer of its own and holds precisely on the gloss.
• Cut the feature out close to the edge, soak it for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slide it off the backing paper into place.
• Settle the position with a brush, draw the surplus water off with a cotton bud and let it dry undisturbed.
• Use neither softener nor setting solution; their chemistry attacks the printed resin and ruins the feature.
• In 1:43 scale work with tweezers and in good light, as the features are very small.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want a convincing interior in a model of a truck and do not want to paint it by hand. It will be valued chiefly by those who build for a display case and leave the cab with the doors open or the window down, where the interior can be seen.

The set is an accessory, not a model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
