MiG-35 kabuki masks in 1:48 scale, the ADVANCED variant from New Ware. The middle level of the three sets, which covers a wider range than the BASIC variant.
Responsibility details are not available.
A masking set of kabuki paper meant for a model of the MiG-35 fighter in 1:48 scale. In the offering of the New Ware marque it stands in the middle of the trio of levels: it covers more than the smallest variant, but it does not reach the range of the highest set. The difference in scope against the lowest level corresponds to that.
The canopy tends to be only the beginning. As soon as you want to mask further small surfaces or elements with a circular and curved outline, cutting tape by hand starts to hold things up and the result is seldom symmetrical. Machine-cut shapes shorten this work and above all they make sure that the same elements on both sides of the aircraft look identical.
Degrease the surface, lift the mask off with tweezers and seat it without stretching. Press circular shapes down in the middle first and only then around the circumference, otherwise the paper ripples. Apply the paint in two or three weak layers. If an island of uncovered surface stays under the mask, fill it in with liquid mask. Remove them in the opposite order to the one in which you masked, and throw the used pieces away straight away, so that they do not get mixed up with the new ones.
The set offers masks exclusively, so do not look for the kit itself or paints in it.
