A set of self-adhesive painting masks from New Ware cut from fine Japanese kabuki tape. The masks follow the shape of the glazing exactly and serve for spraying the frames of the glazed cabin quickly and crisply. In the BASIC form they cover the main glazed areas. The set is meant for models of the Bell UH-1D helicopter.
The Bell UH-1 Huey was an American multirole helicopter, one of the best known machines of the Vietnam War. The UH-1D version with a lengthened fuselage and a larger cabin served for carrying troops, for casualty evacuation and for supply and became an icon of its era.
Kabuki tape shapes well and leaves no adhesive behind. Move a mask with tweezers, press it to the edge of a frame and apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats, so that it does not creep under the edge. Degrease the surface before spraying; remove a mask while the finish is freshly dry.
It holds masks only; the model, paints and glue are not included.
