This set of shaped foam plugs serves to cover the landing gear bays temporarily while paint is being sprayed. It is not a part of the model and not a decal; it is a masking aid for models of the Messerschmitt Me-262 jet fighter in 1:72 scale.

Use

  • Push the plugs into the open bays before the primer and before the final coat.
  • The springy foam fills the opening and keeps paint from running inside.
  • Pull the plugs out once the paint is dry and the bays stay clean.
  • Saves time compared with masking tape or liquid mask.
