Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:144 scale from the Czech manufacturer captures the British twin-engine medium bomber Handley-Page Hereford. The package consists of parts on sprues and a decal sheet with two variants of British markings. The finished model has a length of around 12 cm and a span of around 15 cm.
The Hereford was a variant of the well-known Handley-Page Hampden bomber. It differed from the Hampden in its powerplant, because instead of radial engines it received Napier Dagger inline engines. These, however, suffered from problems with overheating and reliability, and so the Hereford was built only in limited numbers and served mainly for training and secondary tasks.
Cut the small parts off with care and glue them with thin plastic cement. A primer, thin coats of paint from an airbrush and a fine emphasis of the panel lines with a wash are recommended. Glue the glazing of the cockpit and of the turrets last, so that it stays clear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
