Empty cartridge cases of 25 mm caliber in 1:48 scale capture the moment shortly after the Bushmaster cannon has fired.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory aimed at what is left after the firing: spent cases without the projectile. In 1:48 it is a detail that scatters over the deck of a vehicle or over the ground and gives the scene a sense of action.
An automatic cannon throws the cases out of the fighting compartment, so they pile up in one place depending on where the ejection chute leads and how the vehicle was standing. A modeler can make a lot of that: a tidy little heap by the right side tells the viewer that firing has just taken place, even when there is no explosion, smoke or other striking effect in the scene. Restraint works better here than a scattered flood.
Pour the cases onto an area with varnish laid on in advance and adjust their position with a toothpick until the varnish starts to set. It looks natural when some of them lie on their side and the individual pieces point in different directions. Choose a lighter golden shade and tone it down on the ground with a transparent brown cast, so that the cases tie into the surface and do not form conspicuous bright points. Try out on a scrap of paper first how large an area under the weapon will look believable to you.
Only these small parts are supplied. The vehicle, the base and the paints are not included with them.
