A 1:48 single-sided glazing mask for the Gloster Meteor F.8 (Art Scale) for spraying the cockpit frames quickly and cleanly. The target kit is Airfix.
Responsibility details are not available.
A precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masking set in Japanese kabuki tape for a model of the Gloster Meteor F.8 in 1:48 scale. The single-sided version masks the outer framing of the glazed cockpit. The parts are numbered and come with placement instructions, so masking is a matter of a few minutes. The cut is worked out for the Airfix kit.
The Gloster Meteor was the first British jet fighter and the only Allied jet aircraft used in the Second World War. The F.8 version was the main day fighter variant of the post-war period, with a lengthened fuselage, a new cockpit and an ejection seat. For a long time it formed the backbone of the fighter force of the Royal Air Force and of a number of other countries.
Degrease the glazing. Lift the mask with tweezers, lay it on according to the numbering and press the edges down for a sharp edge. Apply the paint in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush, so that it does not creep under the tape. Take the mask off shortly after the paint has set.
This is a masking aid, not a paint and not a kit. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
