It is precisely these tasks that determine what the soldiers look like: a helmet with a communications system, a vest carrying the magazines exactly where the hand reaches, and equipment adapted to rapid movement in a narrow space. The figure holds this present-day appearance in 1:35 scale.
The set is made by the French brand BlackSnake Model by printing from high-resolution resin. You are buying one figure, which arrives in the raw shade of the material, with no coat of paint and unassembled, that is exactly as it left the printer. With this method of production the sharpness of the surface shows mainly on the fabric, the buckles and the small items of equipment.
Hold the casting on a wooden skewer or in a clothespin while you work; resin is not afraid of the warmth of the fingers, but grease from the skin is able to lift the base coat. Check the fine parts, such as an antenna or a strap, against the light to see whether they are bent; a short bath in hot water will bring them back into shape. Suggest the glass of the goggles or of the visor with a gloss varnish, not with a white dot, which looks unnatural at this size.
The figure is sold unassembled and unpainted, with no glue and no paints.
