Decals with a raised surface which in 1:35 scale finish the cabin of the helicopter in the AH-60L DAP version. They replace the hand painting of small elements and are laid directly onto the parts of the Academy kit.
It denotes the armed modification of the Black Hawk intended for the support of special forces. The machine carries weapon hardpoints on short pylons and part of the equipment for carrying troops was taken away from it. The crew stations therefore differ from the ordinary transport version both in layout and in the composition of the instruments, which on a model with open doors is clearly visible. Machines of this modification flew as a rule at night and low over the terrain, which is an interesting subject from the point of view of coloring and paint wear as well.
The parts onto which a decal is laid must be smooth and painted with a dark base. Trim the decal as closely as possible, soak it only briefly and move it with a brush, not with your fingers. Do not flood the raised layers with decal softener; a drop at the edges is enough to make them settle. Once dry, go over them with a matte varnish, otherwise a sheen would spoil the whole impression.
The set finishes the cabin, but it will not stand in for the helicopter itself; the kit has to be obtained separately.
