A set of self-adhesive masking templates from the TFace range for a model of the A-10C Thunderbolt II attack aircraft in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Masking templates are precisely shaped self-adhesive parts that cover the glazing and other areas that are meant to stay clean after spraying. With them there is no sticking on strips of tape and no lengthy trimming with a blade right on the model, work during which it is easy to cut into a clear part. The set is drawn for a model of the A-10C Thunderbolt II in 1:48 scale, that is, for the American single-seat attack aircraft intended for close support of ground units.
The templates are stuck onto a clean and degreased part before spraying, never onto dried paint. The edges have to be pressed down properly so that no paint seeps under them. After the coat, the mask is peeled off while the paint is freshly dry, as the edges are crispest then.
The set will be appreciated by anyone who sprays with an airbrush and wants crisp cockpit frames without lengthy work with tape. It saves time and nerves and reduces the risk of scratching the clear parts.
This is an accessory for a kit. The model of the aircraft, paints and glue are not in the package, unless stated otherwise.
