A-26B/C correct engine cowlings (1:48, Quickboost) is a resin set of engine cowlings for a model of the Douglas A-26 Invader. This is a detail accessory, not a stand-alone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of corrected engine cowlings for a model of the American Douglas A-26 Invader attack aircraft in the B and C versions, 1:48 scale. The set deals with the correct shape of the covers of the engine nacelles and replaces the parts from the base kit with more precise resin castings. It is not a model of the airplane but an accessory improving the fidelity of the shape.
The Douglas A-26 Invader was an American twin-engine attack and light bomber aircraft from the end of the Second World War, which served in postwar conflicts as well. It was powered by two Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp radial engines. The B version had a solid gun nose, the C version a glazed nose for the navigator.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. Check the fit against the nacelles of the base kit before gluing and sand them lightly if need be. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
