A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This set of finely cast resin from the Quickboost (Aires) brand replaces the exhaust nozzle of the American Douglas A-4 Skyhawk carrier-based attack aircraft in the version of the Israeli Air Force in 1:48 scale. Israeli Skyhawks were given a characteristically extended jet pipe, which moved the heat source back behind the tail surfaces and so cut the vulnerability to infrared-guided missiles. The part captures this unmistakable shape of the tail end faithfully.
The extended nozzle is a recognition mark of the Israeli Skyhawks and changes the whole silhouette of the tail end. Plastic kits usually do not hold it, so this replacement is the key to building a faithful Israeli machine. The casting captures the correct length as well as the inner texture of the mouth, which plastic cannot manage in this scale.
