A detail set of resin wheels for the A-6 Intruder carrier-based attack aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Brassin line by the manufacturer Eduard. The package contains precisely cast landing gear wheels, in some cases with additional photo-etch. It is not an aircraft model but a separate accessory for sharpening up the landing gear.
Resin wheels have faithful definition on the tire tread as well as detail on the rim, and they are usually cast with realistic flattening where they touch the ground. Once the model is standing on its landing gear it therefore looks naturally weighted, unlike the perfectly round plastic wheels made of two halves.
This is a landing gear accessory, not an aircraft model. Neither the kit nor the paints are included in the package.
