A resin set of exhausts for the 1:48 model of the Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero fighter from Eduard. 3D printed exhaust stacks with open outlets.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail set, not an aircraft kit. It contains 3D printed exhaust stacks for a model of the Japanese carrier fighter Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero in 1:48 scale. The parts have open outlets and a fine rendering that is more convincing for exhausts than the heavy plastic parts from the kit.
The Mitsubishi A6M5 was one of the most numerous versions of the legendary Japanese carrier fighter Zero of the Second World War. The A6M5 version had reworked individual exhaust stacks, which helped to raise performance. The separate exhaust stacks are a prominent detail of this aircraft.
Wash the parts to remove print resin residue, separate them from the print supports and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For a realistic look it is worth painting the exhausts in burnt metal shades and bringing out the patina with a wash.
The set is an accessory, not an aircraft model. It contains neither the aircraft nor glue nor paints and is meant to be fitted to the matching base model.
