Dead Design 1:48 AH-1Q/S Cobra In and Out are glazing masks for the inner and the outer side of the cabin of the anti-tank Cobra.

A masking set for the attack helicopter Bell AH-1Q/S Cobra in 1:48 scale. It deals with the frames of the glazing of the cabin from both sides, that is, from the outside and from the interior.
An experienced modeler can cut a template for a frame out of masking film himself. The problem is not that it cannot be done, but repeatability: the cabin has dozens of areas, each one has to be traced and cut, and it is enough for two neighboring ones to come out a fraction of a millimeter different. A pre-cut set removes this scatter, and with the double-sided variant that goes double, because the inner and the outer template have to follow on from each other exactly. That is precisely what is hardest to do by hand.
Degrease the part, dry it and leave it alone. Transfer the inner masks first, spray the shade of the interior and let it dry out. Then the outer templates and the color of the airframe. Before you start spraying, lay both sets down dry and check against the light whether the edges line up; an offset edge creates the impression of a double frame on the finished model. Apply the paint in several thin coats and take the masks off shortly after it has dried, while the finish is fresh.
