The full interior set from Quinta Studio for the AH-64A attack helicopter in 1:48 scale, rendered beforehand in color on decal paper. The set is cut for the Academy kit, which is also sold under the Modelist brand. Distinguishing this matters, because the brand offers alongside it a set of identical name measured for the plastic parts of another maker.
The Apache has two cockpits one behind the other: the weapons operator sits in front, the pilot behind on a higher seat so as to see over his colleague's head. The A version still worked with classic round instruments and single-color screens, whereas the later Longbow was given a cockpit with large-area displays. For the modeler this is a substantial difference - the instrument panels of the two versions cannot be interchanged, and it is precisely by them that one recognizes which machine one has in front of one.
First rid the seats, side panels and instrument panels of molded relief where a flat part is to go, otherwise it will not seat. Go part by part and let each dry before you set about the neighboring one. Shape the belts on the seats last, so that they do not break during further handling. Leave the decal softener in the bottle; it would damage the printed resin.
The set cannot be used without a base kit; the plastic parts of the helicopter are supplied by another maker.
