Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks of kabuki tape for the model of the AH-64D Apache attack helicopter type in 1:48 scale. The masks make clean spraying of the frames of the glazed cabin and of the wheel discs easier, without laborious cutting. It is not a kit: it is an accessory used while painting a finished or part-built model.
The Boeing (formerly McDonnell Douglas) AH-64D Apache Longbow is an American attack helicopter with a tandem cabin for a crew of two. The D version is marked by the radar mounted above the rotor, guided missiles and a 30 mm cannon in a turret; it serves for destroying ground targets and armored vehicles.
The pre-cut self-adhesive kabuki masks are stuck onto the cabin glazing and the wheel discs, pressed into the engraved frame lines with a pointed stick and then the area is sprayed. Once the paint has dried, the tape is lifted off and the framing stays clean and sharp. An airbrush gives an even coat; the masks can also be used for two-color camouflage masking.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package and are obtained separately.
