This 3D-printed resin weapons set contains four AIM-9L/M Sidewinder short-range air-to-air guided missiles in 1:48 scale. It is aftermarket armament for modern fighter aircraft, not an aircraft kit. The crisp 3D print captures the fine detail of the control and stabilizing surfaces. The set is supplied unpainted and usually also contains a decal sheet with markings.
The AIM-9 Sidewinder is an infrared-guided short-range missile, one of the most widespread weapons of its category in the world. The L and M versions are among the most used and were carried by a range of Western fighters from the 1970s onward.
Separate the missiles carefully from the print supports and clean up the cuts. Because the thin surfaces are fragile, work over a tray and glue with super glue. Once painted, apply the markings from the decals and unify the surface with a matte varnish.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and launch rails are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
