The number in the name sets it apart from the first variant of the same subject, so both can be used side by side in one scene without repeating an identical silhouette. The name does not describe the contents of the pack. Animal subjects form a separate group in the brand's range alongside the figure sets.
Two different castings look more natural in a pasture than two identical ones. With a larger number of animals it is worth turning each one a different way and leaving the spacing irregular. Cattle usually turn the same way when the wind blows or the sun beats down, and a detail like that gives the scene credibility without calling for anything extra. An area the size of a palm is ample for two animals; a calm background without distracting elements matters more than the area.
Build the pasture from fine static grass in two lengths and shades. Around the places where the animals stand, a trampled patch without growth appears, and by a watering trough a muddy edge as well. After painting, unify the body with a thin brown wash into the recesses and brighten the back instead, because that is where most of the light falls. Lay a darker tone around the hooves, as if the ground were damper there.
