1:48 AV-8B Early 3D printed colored interior on decal paper (small version) is a layered set of colored 3D decals for the cockpit of an AV-8B model in 1:48 scale. It is applied like a decal but carries three-dimensional relief. Intended for the Hasegawa kit.

A colored three-dimensional cockpit decal from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale for the AV-8B Harrier II attack aircraft in its early form. The set is printed and colored on decal paper, so it combines the look of photo-etch and resin detail with the ease of a wet decal. The instrument panel and the other interior elements have real depth, the instruments are colored and you do not have to paint them by hand.
The smaller version of the set. The name marks this item as the smaller version. The same maker also produces a full variant of the same set, but the exact difference in scope is not given in the names, so check it on the packaging. The set is cut for the Hasegawa kit.
The procedure differs from a classic decal in that the parts are thicker and stiff. Cut them out exactly along the outline, dip them in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and let them stand until the part slides off the backing paper by itself. Coat the area in the cockpit with gloss varnish beforehand, because the part has no adhesive layer of its own and will not hold on a matte surface. Set it in place with tweezers, press it down with a cotton bud and soak up the surplus water. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution; their chemistry attacks the printed resin and ruins the part. The interior is fitted before the fuselage is closed up, so plan the order of work in advance.
