This set of colored self-adhesive 3D decals serves to detail an interior; it is not a kit. A flexible film with raised colored elements replaces the instrument panels, the side panels and further details of the cabin of the B-26B Marauder bomber in 1:48 scale. The maker is Kelik. The decals are shaped for the ICM kit.
The Martin B-26 Marauder is an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War. Its marks were a high wing loading and high landing speeds, on account of which it had a reputation at first as a demanding machine; in experienced hands, though, it was among the most dependable bombers, with low losses.
The elements are carefully lifted out of the sheet and applied to the matching surfaces of the interior. The film will conform to slightly curved surfaces; degrease the surfaces and press the decal down into the detail with a soft cotton swab. Whether a decal softener can be used on it should be checked in the manufacturer's instructions; with printed elements makers tend to be cautious about one. Colored detail thus appears with no painting.
This is an accessory for a model, not the kit itself. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
