SPACE seat belts for the BAC/SEPECAT Jaguar GR.1/GR.1A in 1:48 scale are 3D-printed decals from Eduard that do away with bending photo-etch and with painting the belts by hand in the cockpit.

This is an accessory set, not an aircraft model. It contains 3D-printed decals depicting the pilot seat belts of the British BAC/SEPECAT Jaguar attack aircraft in the GR.1 and GR.1A versions in 1:48 scale. The belts are transferred onto the seat as a decal, so there is no bending of small photo-etched parts and no painting of them. The manufacturer is the Czech company Eduard.
The Jaguar came about as a joint British and French program by BAC and Breguet. The single-seat attack version of the Royal Air Force carried the designation GR.1, and the upgraded standard GR.1A. The aircraft was powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce Turbomeca Adour engines and was designed above all for action against ground targets from low level and for tactical reconnaissance. The cockpit is clearly visible with the canopy open, so detail on the seat really does tell on a finished model.
Paint the surface of the seat first and give it a gloss clear coat, as the decal then beds down better and will not go dull. Do not dip the part in water: moisten only the backing paper beneath it with a damp sponge, lift it off with tweezers and set it in place. With 3D-printed decals, do not use a softener or a setter, as the layer is thicker than on an ordinary decal and an aggressive product would attack the printed resin. Fix the part with PVA glue, blot the excess moisture with a paper towel, let it dry thoroughly and unify the whole with a matte varnish. It helps the effect if, once dry, you suggest a light sag in the belts with a dark wash.
