An injection-molded plastic kit of the British jet trainer BAe Hawk T.Mk.1/1A in the colors of the aerobatic team Red Arrows in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss. The box contains plastic parts with an engraved surface, clear cockpit parts and decals for the striking red scheme. The model captures the aircraft in the form used by the famous British aerobatic team.
The Hawk is a British single-engine advanced trainer that first flew in the middle of the 1970s and became one of the most widespread aircraft in its class. The T.Mk.1/1A version serves with the Royal Air Force and in its striking red colors it is used by the Red Arrows aerobatic team. Their aircraft carry a pod under the fuselage from which colored smoke is released during displays.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the seams. Assemble and paint the cockpit before you close the fuselage. Apply the bold red with an airbrush onto a smoothly sanded and primed surface, ideally over a light base so that the color covers well. Apply the decals over a gloss coat and finish the model with a gloss coat, which matches the look of the display aircraft.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
