A resin detail set for experienced modelers, intended for models of the Bristol Beaufighter TF Mk.X in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory - an accurate casting of the air intake, which replaces the simplified plastic part with a faithful shape and an open, hollowed mouth.
The characteristic intake under the wing is a prominent recognition feature of the Beaufighter. The resin casting adds the correct shape and the depth that injection-molded plastic often only suggests. The set is intended for the torpedo and strike variant TF Mk.X.
Wash the part to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting block and clean the mouth up. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. Apply a primer before painting; bring out the inside of the intake with shading so that it looks deep and realistic.
This is a resin accessory set, not a complete kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
