The Bell AH-1G Cobra came about as a machine built straight for fire support, not as an armed transport helicopter. Its fuselage is therefore narrowed to the width of a pair of shoulders, the crew sits in tandem one behind the other and the pilot has his place at the rear and higher up. Under the nose is a traversing turret, along the sides of the fuselage stub wings with racks, and the machine stands on skids. The 1:48 scale is a rewarding one for the Cobra: the model is large enough for the detail of the turret and the shape of the glazing to come into their own, and it still fits an ordinary display case.

These are classic wet decals. Varnish the area under the decal with a gloss varnish first, because on a matte surface air would stay trapped under the motif and a silvery rim would appear around the edges. Cut the motif out close to the artwork, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest aside until it starts to slide freely on the backing paper. Lay it against the model, slide it into place with a fine brush and blot the water away with a cloth from the center toward the edges. Once dry, varnish the model according to the finish you want.
The kit of the helicopter, the paints and the glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
