Berlin 45 from the Czech manufacturer Plusmodel is a resin accessory for dioramas in 1:48 scale on the theme of war-scarred Berlin in 1945.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin diorama set from the Czech manufacturer Plusmodel that makes it possible to set equipment or figures into the backdrop of Berlin at the very end of the Second World War. It is not a kit of a vehicle or an aircraft; it is a scenic accessory that will give a diorama in 1:48 scale a credible urban environment scarred by fighting.
In the spring of 1945 Berlin became the scene of the final battle of the European theater. The city, heavily damaged by aerial bombing and street fighting, was made up of the ruins of buildings, rubble, abandoned equipment and improvised barricades. It is exactly this raw atmosphere that is a rewarding subject for dioramas; it allows late German and Soviet equipment, figures and urban props to be combined into a single scene with a clear story.
Before gluing, wash the resin parts in warm soapy water, cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a scalpel and glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply the base shades with a brush or an airbrush and then work with washes, pigments and drybrushing; brick dust, soot and grayish tones of plaster will give the scene the weight and credibility it needs.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
